Sunday~
Blood orange juice
1lb. of Black grapes
Life Thyme Salad Bar lunch

Monday~
3 black figs
1/2 honeydew melon
1 grapefruit
4 oranges
1/2 Cherimoya
3 plums
8 oz. of Concord grape juice 
2 bites of a raw food bar
(-All of the food I ate today was from a friend. How generous & sweet. I felt very loved.)

Tuesday~
2 pears
6 black figs
Life Thyme salad bar lunch
Chocolate brownie w/mint tea (<--Yes, you read right, I ate a brownie. It was very yummy. I don't plan on eating another for a while. It was fun. Definitely good with mint. Excellent combo. For some reason, had to have it. I think I was feeling emotional & needed to be distracted. Too much thinking & not enough being. I'm glad I can see this.)  

Oh my, so many days have passed. I've been a busy bee. This is more or less what I ate.I may have missed something, but I don't think so.

Saturday~
5 oz carrot-romain juice
5 ripe plantains
Banana-grape smoothie
Amasake smoothie
Mixed veggie salad w/beans & guacamole

I had really busy days, got home late & ate dinner on both days (-having dinner wasn't part of the plan). The good news is, I had a great workout on Friday morning & I danced for 4 hours today! (-I had an intense dance workshop to attend.)  Hopefully I burned enough calories to cover any over-eating I did this weekend. :)

Ahhh... I really like today's choices. I had great energy all day!

Lime-ginger-honey water
Dandelion-ginger-lemon juice w/stevia
1 small banana
2 small & 1 medium size ripe plantains
Squash-celery-carrot puree w/chopped cucumbers
Amasake almond smoothie

I also meditated for 10 minutes, jumped on my rebounder for 30 minutes & danced for 2 hours, so maybe that gave me energy too! Whatever it was, today worked! It was a great combo. -Xo!

Today and Yesterday I ate;





Yesterday I had, limeade (lime juice, raw honey & water), fresh vegetable juice, a few plantains, a raw acorn squash soup, & a peanut-goji berry treat. Today I had limeade, one plantain, fresh vegetable juice, an immune buster smoothie (banana, garlic, vitamin C, strawberries, etc.), lunch at a salad bar, & I drank soy chai at a cafe in the evening. Both days feel like they are blending together.

Wow, time is flying!

The last few days have been busy. I don't remember all that I ate, but I do recall lots of melon & figs, an okra soup & some beans with avocado. Today I had, limeade (lime, raw honey & water), green smoothie (plantain, lime, celery & cilantro), green smoothie #2 (goji berrys, plantain, sprouted seed/legume fiber & cinnamon) & an amasake green shake.

I'm eating too many calories. Both days were around 2,ooo. I would like to eat much less. The good news is on both of these days the food was eaten early. So there was no late night eating or dinners. I've been good about this lately. This makes me happy. :)

Today and Yesterday I ate;



Well, not the best eating days to report.

The last three days have been spent hanging out with friends in Manhattan & going to various events. I somehow got caught-up in city life, ..and food. Tomorrow I begin again with the new plan. I will act as though today & yesterday's food choices never happened. :) They were tasty, but I can definitely feel the difference. My energy is much better on simple raw foods. Also, my mind is clearer and less 'jumpy' when I eat very plain. Too much fat, refined foods or spice through me off balance.

I'm Back!



Yay! I'm back in NYC & I'm all revved up to start blogging again. :)

Today I ate;
Watermelon
Mangoes
Mixed veggies & peas 
Green smoothie (-but it looked brown; red beet tops, fiber, PB & banana)
= approximately 1600 calories for the day

I made the smoothie at 5pm for dinner. The veggies I ate at about 2pm. (-It was a very small amount, so I had the smoothie just incase I got hungry later.) I still want to continue with the 'no dinner' plan. I kept it up (more or less) while I was camping. I slept really well. Last night I ate dinner & I felt weighed down by it. So I'm pretty sure a big lunch (instead of dinner) is the way to go for me. 

Here is the plan for the next three weeks;
Breakfast- fruit or green smoothie
Lunch- fruit, green salad or vegetable soup
Dinner- green smoothie or vegetable soup (-only if hungry)
..and of course I will post all the meals on this blog & hopefully share some recipes.

Day 21!

Well, ..today is the last day of the 'no dinner' goal (& Clean Program 1st try). So far so good. I definitely think this is something I should do everyday from this point forward. Tomorrow I leave for a camping trip. I'll be back on the 8th of September. I will keep the 'no dinner' rule while I'm away. I will definitely get some good sleep. I'm clear that not eating late is key to getting adequate  rest. After I return I will give the Clean Program another go. I'm looking forward to it. I'm going to join their forum as well. We all need support & encouragement.
